Malic Happenings

Last weekend Louis and I had a kid free day and we got some quality time in together!! We went to the Arlington Racetrack and even though we only won $4 all day it was a lot of fun. 

On Monday someone started a new school year. He is getting entirely too big!

Meanwhile this girl was showing everyone just how much attitude she has!! 

Feeling Fall

The weather the last few days has definitely cooled off and we are starting to get ready for our favorite season, FALL!!

We went to Costco this past weekend and Halloween costumes were out and Blake picked this outfit and immediately came home and has been wearing it since. Lets hope it makes it until Halloween!

With the cooler weather we had to bust out warmer PJ's and all we had were the new Halloween ones!!!

Visiting Uncle Sean

The other weekend we went into the city to visit Uncle Sean. We were able to grill out on his roof (super cool, the kids LOVED watching all the airplanes). Then afterwards we walked to the park/lake. It was the perfect day. Although I am sure Uncle Sean was glad the tornado that is the Malic crew was gone so he could clean up!!

Malic Happenings

These two cuties are so funny and goofy. It is so great to watch them play together and giggle. Best Friends for life!!

Beach Day

Crystal Lake has a great place called Three Oaks beach that has swings, a splash pad and a beach all right there (not to mention a Culvers onsite!). We finally were able to make it over there the other weekend. Blake saw the beach and immediately started saying how much he was loving his "vacation"!! Had I known that he would think the local beach was vacation I wouldn't have driven two days in the car to get to the real beach, hahaha. 

This girl will literally do anything her brother does....we are in real trouble!

Success Trip they were both sleeping within two minutes of leaving the beach!
