Brooke's 5th Birthday Weekend

Brooke had an action packed celebration weekend turning 5!!

 

First up, a Windy City Bulls games with a bunch of our friends.

They made their own signs and got balloon horns

 

Blake and his friends got to go on the court and high five the players as part of the Cary Basketball Association fundraiser

On Saturday we had Brooke's family party

 

She helped decorate for the party and make her own birthday bundt cake

 

Sunday was her class party at Jump Zone. They had a blast!!

 

On Monday (her actual birthday) we celebrated with a balloon

 

And she picked where she wanted to go for dinner, so she picked Culvers because she LOVES their burgers. (smart choice kid)

 

This little bean is 3'7" and 45 lbs

LOVES anything Blake loves (aka "boy stuff"). He is still her entire world

Still only wears her hair in a ponytail

Is a Mama's girl

Is my early riser and always goes to bed late (what is with that!!)

Is very funny and sweet

Is in swim class and about to start gymnastics (and cant wait to do basketball next year)

Fantastic at drawing rainbows

SpongeBob and Dude Perfect are her favorite shows



February 2019 Roundup

We had a busy and very fun February which we needed since it was SOOOO COLD!!

 



We went to the Lincolnshire theatre to see Seusical the Musical

 

This little one had her Daddy Daughter Dance

 

Then we spent the long weekend in Lake Geneva with my family at the Grand Geneva.

 

First up, sledding and snowboarding

 

So proud of this little guy who rocked his first time snowboarding

 

Us girls had a blast sledding

 

We made a stop at the Ice Castles downtown Lake Geneva and it did not disappoint

 

My Dad never smiles but I swear he is happy!!

I was invited by Wendy to the annual CASA of McHenry County Little Black Dress Gala

I miss hanging out with these ladies

January 2019 Roundup

Oops.... I blinked and it is March and I never posted about the first two months of the year. Sorry. Here is a round up of our January. 

 

Celebrated Uncle Sean's birthday!!

 

The Tod Squad planned an adults only dinner and we had a BLAST. Plus the girls had a photo session and the guys refused to participate!

 

Our little niece Kelsey was baptized!

 

These two are becoming closer and closer each time they hang out

 

We attended A LOT of basketball games watching this little man do his thing!!

 

Played in the snow (and got some snow days in the process!!)
