Blake and Puppies

This past weekend when we went to visit Katie, Eric and Raegan, Blake became fascinated with Keagan (their dog). He let Keagan lick his face (although Blake quickly learned to close his eyes and make a face when it happened) and pet Keagan. Ever since, we have this stuffed polar bear (Oliver) that sorta looks like a puppy and now Blake has taken a strong liking to him. He hugs him and gives him kisses. It is so cute to watch him get a closer attachment to a toy. Granted, he still drops Oliver like a bad habit if there is a cabinet in site that needs opening but its a start.

Ten Months

How the heck is Blake in double digits for how many months old he is? This year is flying by and it makes me so sad that my little boy is growing up so fast. I was planning on taking his 10 month pictures yesterday however he was a cranky pants (we think he is getting another tooth because he is drooling more than a dog!) so we did not attempt that yet. Yesterday we were making some mashed potatoes for dinner and I was holding Blake so he could watch Louis use the hand mixer to make them. Turns out Blake is deathly afraid of the hand mixer and the vacuum. As soon as the thing turned on he got this pouty face and burst into tears and clung to me for dear life. It was so cute and hilarious. I promise more pictures sometime this week!

Almost Walking

In the last few days Blake has really been into walking. He spends his entire time pushing his little car around and ramming into walls at full speed. Today he stood without holding onto anything for a good amount of time and he started to pick up his foot but got nervous and sat down. In a few weeks I am sure we will have a walker on our hands. God help us!

Classin' It Up Country Club Style

On Sunday we went to the Crystal Lake Country Club with Mary and Matt. First up was lunch with Mary (Matt was golfing in the club tourney). After lunch we hit up the pool.

Unti Family Reunion

This year the Unti Family Reunion was in Waukesha, WI, near my Aunt Laurie's house. We rented a pavilion at a park and tried to stay cool. Blake was able to meet a lot of the family for the first time.

Overall, it was a great trip and it was nice to see the gang again. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long for the next trip.

Wisconsin Dells Vacation {Part 2}

Day two of our trip we were determined to get more outdoor time. There was a little lazy river area for kids with only 1 foot of water and a baby slide. Blake seemed to enjoy that area the most and there was shade so we set up camp.
