Malic Happenings

We were spoiled with a streak of awesome weather (60's!! in March) so of course we tried to spend as much time outside as possible. 

Blake has been anti-bike for awhile and we convinced him to get back on and practice

Brooke has HATED swimming since we started her back up a month ago. She would cling to us and scream the entire time. This past week we made her go by herself with the teacher and while there were some tears, she did SO MUCH better than we thought and actually kicked and floated. Progress!

Last week school had a Mom/Son block party and beforehand we took the kids to Portillos. They were definitely a crazy bunch!

James needed help fixing a piece on his roof so this meant two Malic's climbed a roof and us girls watched from the ground prepared to call 911. Luckily, it all ended well.

This little one is ALWAYS sleeping when we see her!!!!!

Brooke's Party

I did a terrible job taking pictures at Brooke's birthday. However, it was a great time and I think the Minnie theme was a success. She was in love with her Minnie hat and wore it pretty much all night (thanks Aunt Katie!).

My Baby is Two!

It feels like just yesterday she was born and here we are two years later. She definitely has developed her own independent personality. She loves Minnie, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Minions. She is talking up a storm and asks a ton of questions. She is very picky about her wardrobe (mostly consisting of Minnie shirts, cozy pants and minnie shoes). She loves playing with her baby and "packing" for vacations. She makes hilarious faces at us just to get us to laugh. She has started to give her brother a run for his money. We love you Brooke Elizabeth!!

Life Lately

Life has been crazy lately, mostly because Louis and I have been working a trillion hours. Luckily these kids have been keeping us entertained.

This past weekend was so nice that we got outside for fresh air. Louis was a very proud Daddy when Blake said he wanted to golf :)

Blake got to be Sheriff Woody at school

Blake is in a basketball/tball class and this week he practiced hitting off the tee.

Bowling and a birthday

A few weeks ago we went with the Kramers to Brunswick Zone to try out bowling with the kids. I think overall it was a success. Neither Brooke or Blake had napped that day so we anticipated a crash at some point (which we got!) but I think the kids had fun at their first attempt. 

We will take any reason for B&B to sing happy birthday and eat a cupcake. So we headed to Grandma's on her birthday to do just that!

Miss McKenna

It's official, James and Colleen had little McKenna Elizabeth on January 25th. This made Louis and I "official" Aunt and Uncle and gave B&B their first cousin. She was so sweet and cozy and made Louis and I question how our kids were ever that little!!! Can't wait for many more adventures with another Malic in the mix.
