St. Lucia Honeymoon

For our honeymoon we went to St. Lucia (located in the West Indies). We stayed at the Sandals Regency. We absolutely loved it. Our start of our honeymoon was just as crazy with Mother Nature as our wedding had been (it must have been a theme for us, we have joked we need to name our first child either Rain or Storm). We landed in St. Lucia and it was pouring rain, to which we had to walk outside to get off the plane. I did not wear the right shoes to run in the rain!! Everyday it rained, some days more than others but it was not a wash out and actually helped keep the extreme heat at bay. We did lots of fun things, snorkeling, visiting a volcano, seeing the waterfalls, taking a rainforest skyride and ocean kayaking (I saw a sea turtle but Louis didn't so I am pretty sure he is convinced I didn't see it). We took over 300 pictures of our trip but below are my favorite.

It was really difficult to take a picture in the ocean

The St. Lucian street fest. Louis got a real coconut to drink the milk

Louis is the expert at the one arm pics

Louis tried to get the sunset as best he could

Gorgeous bluffs

Getting ready to go on the rainforest skyride. Thank goodness they gave us ponchos, it definitely poured on us

My first time snorkeling. I did pretty dang good, if I say so myself

  1. It looks like you both have huuuge boobs in the snorkel picture. I literally did a double take. Sexy.

  2. This is coming very late, but congratulations on your wedding and honeymoon! It looks like you had fun in St Lucia despite the weather. Think of the rain as blessings instead. :D It sounds to me like you were able to do a lot of really cool stuff at the beaches. How long did you stay at St Lucia?
