Blake's First Thanksgiving

Our first Thanksgiving with Blake was a success. We had the grandparents and uncles over at our house. People kept thinking I was nuts to host this year with a 6 week old but I had plenty of babysitters around for me to work on making dinner.

We are still trying to teach Blake to look at the camera
Tummy Time (he had recently learned that putting his hand in his mouth is fun)
This was our attempt to get some cute pictures and he is giving us the "parents you are crazy" look

He has definitely hit that 6 week growth spurt, and still testing Mommy and Daddy's patience at night when we are trying to sleep. I am trying to bride him that Santa won't come unless he sleeps but clearly he knows he is cute enough to get Santa to come regardless.

Back to Blake

On Sunday we went over to Katie and Eric's house for our monthly date. Katie had just bought a new camera and needed a new test subject besides Keagan so that led to a mini photo shoot with Blake. He is such a cute little peanut!!

Christmas Tree Skirt

We interrupt the Blake pictures for this special post that has been about 3 years in the making. For years now I have asked my mom to make me a Christmas tree skirt. She is awesome at quilting and sewing and I really wanted to have a homemade one versus a store bought one. I actually almost caved this year and bought one online but I held out that my mom would still make me one. I don't know if it was because she wanted Blake to have a Christmas tree skirt for his presents from Santa or she wanted me to stop bugging her but either way we have one awesome gift!

THANKS MOM!!

One Month

We cannot believe that our little Blakester is one month old. He is growing like a weed. He is wearing all 3 month clothes because he needs the length in the legs, the outfits are big in the middle though so he looks kinda goofy. He still loves his paci and having his hands at his face. He has been sleeping in his crib, and tends to wake up every 3 hrs or so to eat. We are still working on the "go back to sleep after you eat" part. He is smiling more and more each day and we are convinced he is going to roll over any day because he can easily get on his side. He is still the spit up king and doesn't like to burp.

Go Hawks!

Mommy made me cozy to try and stop me from crying

He isn't a fan of the bath but loves the cuddling afterwards

Playing on the playmat, he loves staring at Mr. Whale

3 weeks

This blog has officially become pictures of the little peanut. Mostly this is all we have been doing so this is all we have to write about.

It is surreal that he is already 3 weeks old today.

Tummy time on Daddy

Happy Halloween
