With two babies during the winter in Michigan there isn't a lot to do besides hanging out with the babies. We could not get a single picture of Blake and Maddie looking at the same time. Oh well....
Me and my niece who I now refer to as mini M&M (Madeleine Marie)
Maddie had a jumperoo and was nice enough to let Blake break it in. He LOVED it, I got him laughing. He didn't really understand how to bounce so we helped him. Lucky for him, Maddie had two so we got to take one home.
Over the last week or so Blake has really been trying to roll over from his back to his stomach. He can easily make it to his side but he always had his arms in the way preventing him from completing rolling over unassisted. Well this morning while I was getting ready he decided he was going to master this once and for all. He successfully rolled from his back to his front and then was just hanging out on his tummy like this...
I have a child who refuses to sleep at night, he would rather be eating a bottle or playing or doing anything else besides sleep. This leaves Mommy and Daddy exhausted but its so hard to stay mad at that face.
Our little man is growing like a weed. We had to use the 6-9 month onesie for the photo shoot. Blake has started pulling the bottle in and out controlling when he eats. He loves when we read books to him, his favorite book is a Baby Einstein book. He can sit up for a few seconds on his own before falling over. He is a total flirt with all of the girls.
Yep, he still loves his paci
The Lion King is more exciting than taking these silly pictures
Today we had a lot of visitors over! Katie, Eric, Raegan, James, Colleen, Sean and my Mom. Everyone actually came to meet Miss Raegan and she was so adorable. She is truly a little peanut compared to Blake. She was chill and relaxed and Blake was all over the place and a spit up factory. Uncle Eric got the first round of spit up and had to borrow Louis' IWU sweatshirt, and then I got soaked in spit during the photo shoot :)
Louis insisted on sitting on the loveseat with James and Colleen to watch golf
Raegan and Blake playtime
Trying to hold hands
Enough pictures already Mommy!
My sweet little niece
Mommy and Baby picture (immediately after this photo is when I got all the spit up)
On Saturday we went over to my parents house because my Grandma and Grandpa Unti as well as my Uncle Dave and Aunt Jo were coming over for a late lunch. Of course the main source of entertainment was the little peanut.
Blake needed to nap on the couch at home to rest up for entertaining the crowd
Wearing his big boy outfit
The pants are hiked up a bit because they are a little big in the waist but we need the longer length since he is so tall
On Sunday Grandma Malic came over and babysat for a little bit while Louis and I ran errands and went out to lunch. I am proud to say Blake was such a well behaved boy all weekend long. Woohoo.
This blog hasn't had a Blake photo in over a week, shame on me! I forced him to take a picture this morning when we were getting ready- he wasn't really a fan, he wanted to watch Disney Junior instead! (I know, bad parent alert but at least he is watching Little Einsteins and learning something!!)
