Bubble Beard

There is a new found love for bubbles in the Malic household. Blake wants to touch them, play with them and yes, even eat them. The last few nights Louis has been giving Blake a bubble beard, and it is hilarious. He looks like a mini Santa.

CLS Class of 2002 High School Reunion

It has been 10 years. Godness, I feel old!

When all of the talk about reunion planning was taking shape, the original crew decided that we should get together for dinner the night before to catch up and have time to talk. We went to Coopers Hawk and stayed for almost 4 hours. There was a lot of laughing and it felt like 10 years haven't past.

Me, Lindsay, Katie, Katie and Melissa

Our actual reunion was held at Pinstripes in Barrington. Unfortunately, the turnout wasn't super great, but there were still a lot of people that we haven't seen in awhile.

Katie, Melissa and I

Luke, Me and Ben. It is worth noting that while Ben is going to be the future president, he was the one who forced me to drink multiple shots. ICKKK

Something was really funny. (Katie, Katie, Me and Lindsay)

One more time, the girls. Katie, Katie, Me, Melissa and Lindsay. It is worth noting here that Melissa lives in Las Vegas which is why we all look pale in comparison.

It was so good to see everyone, and hopefully we can get together again soon and not have the 20th reunion be our next excuse.

Blake 11 Months

I know this picture is being posted about a week and a half late but this past week was pretty insane around our house. It is getting beyond difficult to get Blake to sit still and take these monthly pictures. Thank godness we only have one more left. In the spirit of keeping it real, here is the "best" 11 month picture.

Door County {Part 3}

Since the weather was pretty perfect, we decided to have lunch on the water.

This was the view from our table

Brother and Sister love

 After lunch we went to downtown Ephraim to sit by the water. If you cant already tell the theme of the weekend was to enjoy the scenary.

Grandma and Grandpa with Blake

Louis took this nice picture

Our last night in Door County my parents were kind enough to offer to stay at the hotel and watch Blake while Louis, Sean and I went into Fish Creek for dinner. We had an excellent meal outside and afterwards we went to this popular spot to watch the sunset. It was the perfect way to end the weekend.

Door County {Part 2}

For dinner on Friday night, it was a requirement that we found a place with a great Fish Fry. After all, we are in Wisconsin. Sister Bay has a bowling alley (weird, I know) that we were told has the best fish fry, turns out the rumors were true. Before dinner we did a little wandering in downtown Sister Bay.

Goats on the roof at Al Johnson's restaurant

Family Photo. Please note, Blake did not look at the camera once all weekend for family photos. Oh well!

Looking at the boats

Walking is so much fun!

The next day we hit up this winery and store. Blake was sleeping in the car (my mom watched him) and we went to do some wine tasting

Door County {Part 1}

We took a long weekend and headed up north with the Unti crew to Door County. It was the perfect little getaway. Blake was super good the entire time (except for the early morning wakeups and teething on Sunday).

When we arrived it was cooler and rainy so naturally we headed to the indoor pool for some fun. Blake is getting really good at the doggy paddle and jumping in from the side.

Blake was obsessed with pushing his stroller in the hallway. No joke my Dad probably did this with him for hours over the weekend.

After sightseeing, lunch and shopping we hit the pool back up before dinner.

Blake is starting to understand the concept of "relaxing"

Come back, as I will have more pictures of our trip during the week.

Little Boy not a Baby

When did this happen? When did my baby boy become a little boy? He is getting so big and it is amazing to watch him learn and develop but next month I am going to have a 1 year old. Time goes by too fast. Here is a glimpse of him this morning. It is picture day at school, fingers crossed the outfit stays clean long enough for the picture.

Lyla Ann

On August 26th, my cousin Kassy welcomed her baby girl, Lyla Ann. Blake was the first great grandchild on the Unti side and now Lyla is here to share in the fun. Now we have a boy and girl to spoil and share photos of. We can't wait to meet her in person.

My Michigan Family {Part 2}

On Sunday we threw a little party so that all of the Illinois crew could come see Melanie, Ryan and Maddie. My parents were nice enough to host.

My Michigan Family {Part 1}

This past weekend, the Ramsayer clan (Melanie, Ryan and Maddie) came to visit. Since they live in Michigan we don't get to see them too often. The last time we hung out we both had babies that stayed in one spot, this time, not so much. It is really fun to see how similar their personalities are. Maddie literally has no fear and gets right in the mix with Blake.

Playing in the kitchen

Swing Time!

Blake thinks he is bigger than he is.

Blake LOVES his fort (aka his box)

Maddie got exhausted from playing with the shovel and measuring cups

Stroller Time

On the fishing dock. Blake wanted to dive into the water and Maddie was trying to keep up and chase him
