10 YEARS

On June 18th Louis and I celebrated a decade of marriage. We have grown so much and we are so grateful to be together and having a loving home. We celebrated at Pier 290 in Lake Geneva for a nice dinner (our first date night in MONTHS thanks to COVID).

Now a walk down memory lane. We take a picture every year on our anniversary so we can look back and see how much we have changed (aka aged haha).

June 2020

We celebrated Father's Day by visiting both sides of the family

Kelsey-- that face!!

Cousins

Always in the mud at Papa's house

I had off work and we took an adventure. We rented the dragon paddleboat at CL beach. It was all fun until a huge storm came out of nowhere and we got SOAKED while trying to paddle back. The kids LOVED every second.

Blake and Mommy bike ride

Brooke had a playdate and they decided to play dress up

Brooke learned to ride a two wheeler!!! She did so well and got it her first try! She still wants training wheels on long rides and sidewalks but will zoom around empty parking lots

Brooke has been loving going with Louis to the driving range. We might have a future golfer.

May 2020

Moving day was bittersweet. We love our new house and our neighborhood and it is the best decision for our family but we also loved so much of our CL home.

Luckily when some of your best friends live a few houses away from the new house and have a sweet pool it helps make moving easier!!

My Mothers Day project-- transform the fireplace. I love how it turned out!!

We treated the kids to the Kona Ice truck.

Brooke wanted to do chores and earn money by doing yardwork

Blake and Brady will be best friends for life....

Last day of school. It was so weird for the kids because they never got to say goodbye to their friends at Woods Creek because of COVID and e-learning and then us moving. But they finished the school year and took it like champs.

Last day of Kindergarten

Last day of 2nd grade

Painting Cary Trojan signs for their rooms

The troublesome trio

Celebrating Grandma and Grandad's birthday

April 2020

Let's just call April the month of COVID and change. We did lots of e-learning!! Mom and Dad almost went crazy.

We celebrated Easter very low key but the kids loved their jerseys from Papa

We took lots of bike rides to get out of the house

Twins

Painted rocks to leave along the path to cheer others up

These kids love a sprinkler

She wanted to try on Mommy's glasses

We resorted to the "COVID" haircut from Uncle Sean

Why do kids love mud so much?

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! We had been wanting to move back to Cary for awhile and we found the perfect place and we stressed because our offer was accepted and then a week later.....COVID so we had to navigate selling our house in COVID. It was an INSANE few weeks.

Welcome to our new home

We had about two weeks from the time we closed until we officially moved so we got creative for the kids

The kids got in on the mask game.

Best part of the new house-- HOT TUB!!
