A Malic Christmas

I can't believe Christmas is already over, it didn't really seem like the holidays without snow but I won't complain about the weather! We loved sharing this holiday season with Blake, even though he had no clue what was going on. We were truly blessed by all of the nice gifts we received from friends and family this year. Thank you to everyone.

His stocking is as big as he is!

We had to take the classic, hold up what you got pictures!

Blake still refuses to look at the camera
Louis got a squirrel driver cover
Santa brought Blake a Go Pod and Blake was not digging it. haha
Hopefully he will learn to enjoy it
Grandma and Grandpa Unti made Blake this fleece blanket
Louis got a bunch of golf stuff from the course on Hilton Head... I guess now we need to have him actually golf on the course!
The Christmas day excitement wore him out. At least he is cozy in his new blanket

More Random Blake Pictures

Since I know nothing puts you in the festive mood more than pictures of my adorable child, I thought I would indulge you all with some more random Blake pictures.

We are bad parents- Blake has discovered the TV. Don't worry he was watching Alvin and the Chipmunks so at least it was G rated
Blake has big cheeks so its fun to pinch them and have him make a fishy face
He was really excited to be standing on the table at the restaurant, much better views than his carseat!
Me and Blake (we are working on getting him to look at the camera)
Grandma and Grandpa Unti with Blake
Bath Time! Blake really enjoys "swimming" aka when I move him back and forth in the water
Daddy always wraps him up cozy after bath time

Pictures of the Blakester

Last Thursday Blake had his 2 month doctor's appointment. He is 11 lbs 6 oz and 23 1/2 inches! He had to get 3 shots and took it like a champ. He cried for a minute but then we gave him a bottle and he calmed down. He got a Scooby Doo and Hulk bandaid so we had to take a picture.

Blake after his bath
Daddy thought it would be funny to stick his ears out like an elf

My grandpa had bought Blake a pilot flight suit so we had to take some pics with him wearing...watch out he can be the next Top Gun

Two Months

We cannot believe the little peanut is two months old! He is getting bigger everyday. Blake loves to coo and make all kinds of noises. Mr. Zebra is his favorite toy and he talks to him for hours. He holds his head up and can roll from his tummy to back. Thank god for his swing because that is the only way we get good sleep. We are working through getting the reflux medicine working. He weighs 10 lbs 13 oz!! Please note that Blake has a huge scratch on his face which he did to himself in the pictures below.

Christmas Traditions

On Saturday Blake had his first trip to Wisconsin. Every year for the last few years Louis and I have been going to the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva to see the Christmas lights and decorations. This year we decided to go to Gordy's for dinner and then drive over to see the lights. Sean, James and Colleen also came with us.

Blake was wearing a cute Santa outfit for pictures but at dinner he ruined that outfit so the backup onesie outfit is what he had to wear for pictures. While I was initially bummed about the outfit I realized that who the heck cares what he is wearing-- he is so stinkin cute in every picture regardless.

I swear we didn't plan this intentionally but my parents actually were at the Grand Geneva with family friends Rusty and Priscilla, so of course we had to all hang out.

Blake looking at the ceiling and lights. I swear he is totally fascinated with anything that lights up or involves drywall!

I can't wait to go back next year and Blake will be running all over the place checking everything out. Maybe next year we will be able to get cute pictures with his holiday outfit!
