Soccer Mom

We signed up Blake for soccer. This was his first "official" sport. He had to get shin guards, cleats (aka "bumpy shoes") and a ball. He LOVED it. Typical Chicago weather the day before 80, soccer day, 52 and windy.

Meanwhile, poor Brookie was like "why the heck am I freezing to watch Blake run around and kick a ball?" Haha. 

Paw Patrol on my phone helped a bit :) Although it was getting cold so Louis took her home so she didn't freeze. 

McKenna's Baptism

Last weekend we headed back down the church that James and Colleen got married at to have McKenna's baptism. Beautiful day to celebrate a sweet little girl!

Louis and I got the great honor of being McKenna's godparents. We are so grateful to watch her grow up and be a part of her life

McKenna was so good throughout, didn't make a peep. We all went to Colleen's parent's house afterwards. It was a great setup. The kids played in the playhouse (super cool!) in the backyard and got to spend some time together.

Blake has some awesome friends (and they have awesome Mom's!!). Brady's older brother, Carson was in a school play so we decided to be his fan club. Adelyn and Blake hanging out before the show

Louis was VERY excited that Blake has caught the golf bug. Blake's first time at the driving range. 

Totally random, we ran into our friend from college at the golf course and he let Blake and Louis drive around on the golf cart (Blake's favorite part)

Blake loves to play dress up, its his jam. Brooke on the other hand, not always. On this day however she decided to FINALLY wear her Minnie Dress for the first time. aka her Halloween costume.

We got to have the Sumps over for lunch and the kids "played" together. Haha. One of these days Nancy will get into the mix. 

Brookie climbed out of her crib and gave herself a fat lip so that meant big girl bed!!
